When you’ve been in an industry for over a decade and owner your own business for nearly that long you’ve seen some things. There was a time when I thought I needed to get my dog training license just so people would trust my experience, but I soon realized that wasn’t necessary. I just needed to tell them some stories. Tell them about the situations I have dealt with.
That is where our real strength is. We’ve dealt with pets with separation anxiety, lease aggression, resource guarding, introduction of new pets, wheel aggression, shy pets, standoffish pets, hidey cats, indoor cats that wish they were outdoor cats, and many many more. I can’t even begin to calculate the number of pets I have personally care for and I don’t even want to try for the company.
Our current client list stands close to 700 and we average around 30 visits a day. That is a lot of pets and that is just our current load. There has been more, a lot more, in the past, and there will be even more in the future. We are always building, always improving, and always growing.
Where we are now in business is we have grown so much with some of our clients that we are dealing with pets that we started taking care of as puppies transitioning into senior dog care, and as those needs change we are there. This is a new experience for us as it takes being in business for close to a decade to happen, but as we learn from it we can be ready for when the cycle repeats again. We also have clients that have had an entire house of pets transition across the rainbow bridge and are now caring for their new young pets.
Every year is a new stage and every stage a new learning experience, and we are ready to grow with you and your pets.
